visiting cherry blossoms
the poet would leave with stars
in her eyes
intoxicated by the scent of soft pink

all around us.

An aerial show of motion magic,
the sky
sliced by wings moving in a geometric language,
Afterwards there are favorite spots to view.
You are invited to

Swimming with the moon,
in April's liquid sky.

bring 'em out to dance with
the body twist of colored scales
the flutter of fin,
and then I just let go

we can... transform them into a kind of energy that is healthy and has
the capacity to nourish us. By the work of mindful observation,
our unpleasant feelings can illuminate so much for us, offering us
insight and understanding into ourselves and society. ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
It was a dark drizzly late afternoon and there I was at Home Depot looking at stoves. I need one. Yes, I know this isn't a stove, although.... never mind.
Though I love all the fascinating stuff at home improvement centers, it's not surprising that I drifted over to the garden center there, a large semi-outdoor area.
There was nobody else around except me and flowers. Fine with me, but where are all the Spring gardeners, I wondered? It felt a little peculiar.
The flowers called out. I was alone with the calla lilies and their friends.
Recommended therapy after a way intense day: Inhale deeply the scent of jasmine flowers. Exhale slowly. Repeat.
Decide whether you will melt or float. (The newly acquired smile and relaxed form could go either way.)
The garden area was still quietly free of customers and I left after awhile, but I'm still wondering about a flower whisper, a glimpse of something? I think it has to do with a dance the flowers do, that most don't see.
